Hello, I'm Cannon McClain, a 2D animator and designer from Indiana.

The main programs that I use are Adobe Illustrator and After Effects. I'm always playing around with new tools. I'm currently exploring Rive

When I'm not animating, you can find me cooking delicious vegan meals, roller skating, watching movies, learning a new language or program, or traveling the world. I started my animation journey in 2020, and I've been editing videos and designing since around 2018. 

In 2025, I graduated from Anderson University (IN), lived in Japan and Vietnam for 3 months, and came back to the US to participate in a 3-month Gunner School program in Detroit, MI. Since then, I've lived in Boston.

 I've been freelancing since 2024, and I love to create fluid and visually vibrant animations while pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
